Scouts again have a very interesting badge structure, which is very challenging. It puts the Aim of the Association firmly in its place! Scouts also take more control over the activities as they choose and make decisions about what they want to do.

EXPLORER SCOUTS 14 to 18 years
Explorer Scouts meet at several locations within the district. Explorer Scouts offers more adventurous activities and they are given more freedom and independence. They work on projects and activities with minimum leader supervision. Their badge structure is based on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. In this section members may take on a role in other sections as a young helper.
Our Scout Group was formed in 198 and has grown over the years thanks to the dedication of our leaders and their helpers, all of whom give their time voluntary to organise and run the variety of activities carried out by the different sections. We belong to Northampton Scouts and are part of Northampton District Scouts and participate in many events and competitions with the other groups within the district throughout the year. We also visit attractions, places of interest, both educational and fun, and have out own campsite at the Northampton Scouts activity centre at Overstone.
Our group is open to girls and boys.
Adult help is always welcome and if you can help in any way please contact any of our leaders or myself.
