Invitation

Abbey Community Theatre or ACT for short was formed in 1983. We have been staging productions every since!

We stage three productions a year, in March, June and November in addition to a Christmas Concert. Recent productions have included Haywire by Eric Chapel and The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde.

The venue for all our rehearsals and plays is The Abbey Centre, Overslade Close, East Hunsbury.

ACT meets every Friday evening at 7.30 pm at The Abbey Centre. For everyone not involved in the current play there is the opportunity to group read a play in consideration for future performances.

Those who don't feel brave enough to set foot on stage there is the opportunity to get involved backstage or ‘front of house'.

ACT Chairman is Derek Wilson who can be contacted via The Abbey Centre or see Activities Page.
