The Age Concern

Day Centre

The Age Concern Day Centre meets three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 4 pm.

We enjoy a variety of activities ranging from flower arranging to making our own greetings cards to send to family and friends. We have the usual bingo, carpet bowls, raffles quizzes along with armchair aerobics when we are feeling more energetic!

We also have speakers come in to talk to us on different subjects, have slide shows, entertainers and “mobile” shops bring in their bits and pieces to sell.

We have days out from the Abbey Centre, maybe enjoying a pub lunch, cream teas, shopping at Garden Centres and many more.
